If your bow is unwinding, we can give it a fresh new look while restoring the appropriate balance and weight distribution back to its maximum playing ability

Besides standard silver windings, we are also happy to carry out customised silk windings from a range of different thread colours.

The faceplate protects the bow's head from damage, and also plays an important part in holding a hair plug in securely. A split in the faceplate will usually cause the plug to fail and fall out!

If you've accidentally clipped the nose of your bow into the music stand, or perhaps knicked it against something as you were in a rush to get to the stage? This occurence is more common than you may think, and the faceplate is what saves the actual bow wood from getting damaged.

Fortunately, a faceplate can easily be replaced, and we offer this to you.

We will have your bow looking new again, and besides modern sleek styles we're also happy to discuss and shape your faceplate in the traditional style of the maker your bow is by.
